Lula Pearl Pittman Hubbard Morrissey, 80, formerly of Batesville, MS,
passed away in the early morning hours of Thursday October 19, 2023 at
the Greenhouse Cottages of Wentworth in Magnolia, AR where she had
resided for the last few years. 


The funeral service for Lula will be held Sunday October 22, 2023 at
3pm at Faith Tabernacle United Pentecostal Church in Batesville with
Rev. Michael Dutton and Rev. Troy Smith officiating. The family will
receive friends one hour prior beginning at 2pm. Interment will follow
in Forrest Memorial Park. 


Lula was born April 2, 1943 to the late Alma Lloyd Pittman and Mary
Louise Patton Pittman in Crowder, MS. A loving mother and housewife,
Lula loved attending Goodway United Pentecostal Church in Locke Station,
where she was a faithful member for many years. She also enjoyed
watching Hallmark and Lifetime Movies, especially at Christmas time.


In addition to her parents, Lula was preceded in death by two
husbands, Kenneth "Bud" Hubbard and John T. Morrissey. She was also
predeceased by seven siblings, Ruby Scruggs, Linda Lee, Vera Kay Lucius,
Buddy Pittman, David Pittman, Sara Darby, and Lura "Tootie" Ewing. 


Those left to cherish her memory include three children, Patricia Ann
Cummings (Keith), of Hope, AR, Ramona Jean Hubbard, of Memphis, TN, and
Kenneth Dale Hubbard (Angela), of Batesville, MS; four siblings, Bonnie
Bass (Mike), Virginia Waldo, Terry Pittman (Joyce), and Mac Pittman
(Cindy); two sisters-in-law, Linda Pittman and Ann Pittman; four
grandchildren, Benjamin Ard, Adam Ard, Karla Avalos (Josh), and Anna
Lewis (Nathaniel), and ten great-grandchildren; Lane Ryan, Adalynn
Grace, Paisley Rene, Wyatt, Colby, Dixie Rhianon, Rhylan Claire, Josiah
Matthew, Micah Gabriel, and Isabella Grace.
