Linda Sue (Jones) Kathner, 52, of Springfield, formerly of Lebanon, died Saturday, June 25, 2005, at St. John's Hospital-Springfield.
She was born December 27, 1952, in Lebanon, to Ralph W. Jones and Ardeth R. Donigan Ragsdale.
She was preceded in death by her father, Ralph Jones.
She was employed at Kmart and Wal-Mart in Lebanon and for several years at the Grand Palace in Branson.
Survivors include her mother and stepfather, Ardeth and Ray Ragsdale, of Lebanon; a brother, Jay Harvey Jones and his wife, Elizabeth Jane, of Lebanon; two sisters, Judy Ann Looney and her husband, Lester, of Springfield; Mary Gladys Hahn and her husband, Lloyd, of St. Charles; a stepsister, Rayma Page and her husband, Gary, of Overland Park, Kansas, her best friend, Davidann O'Dell, of Springfield; her nieces, Angela Uptegrove, Andrea Lauer, Tammy Hahn, Ashley Hollaway; a nephew, Chuck Looney; several great nieces and nephews and other relatives.
Graveside services and burial for Linda Sue (Jones) Kathner were held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, July 1, 2005, at Mount Rose Memorial Park with the Rev. John Peterson officiating, under the direction of Thieme-Shadel-Hicks Funeral Service at Colonial Chapel of Lebanon.
