Ruth A. "Billie" Bakeman, 78, of 250 Quincy Av., passed away June 6, 1981, at Barberton Citizens Hospital after a sudden illness.
Born in Osceola Mills, Pennsylvania, she lived the last 25 years in Barberton, and prior to that 30 years in Akron. Mrs. Bakeman was a housewife, former employee of the Allen Cleaners in Akron for 12 years as a manager, and Berney's Laudromat in Barberton ten years as a manager. She was a member of the Faith Baptist Church of Barberton.
She is survived by son, Samuel C. LeForte of Barberton; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brother, Raymond Black of Barberton; and sisters, Mrs. Frances Graham of Woodland, Pennsylvania, Mrs. Margaret Sharpless of Barberton.
Funeral services at the Hahn Funeral Home Inc., Rev. W. L. Hoskins officiating. Interment Hillside Memorial Park.
