Francina Theresa Alexander 60, of Beaumont, TX formerly of Lafayette, La. passed June 17, 2017. Francina was the first of seven children born to Joseph Junius Alexander and Velma Ray Bell Alexander of Lafayette, LA.
She grew up in the heart of Veazey neighborhood at a house that once sat on the corner of 12th Street and Simcoe Street in Lafayette, LA. along with her five brothers and younger sister. Fran, as family and friends knew her, was a graduate of Northside High School and spent most of her adult life working in senior healthcare in a range of public and private settings.
Short of professional challenges, she was committed to and found joy working with the elderly. She is preceded in death by her parents Joseph Junius Alexander, Sr. and Velma Ray Bell Alexander, and her brother Nathaniel Patrick Alexander.
