Her father is Reverend Richard Sharp (20809860). Temperance Sharp "who married George A. Rucker of California", daughter of Richard Sharp and Nancy Rowe of Albemarle County, Virginia, according to biography. Temperance may have been a native of Kentucky since childhood, perhaps born in Virginia in 1819?
Additional: A. G. and T. M. Rucker appear to have left a young daughter in Sharpsburg Cemetery, Marion County, Missouri, 1848. FG #20809866 would be a granddaughter of Rev. Richard Sharp.
Please see note at Richard Sharp Memorial. It states that Temperance was the last child of Nancy Rowe, this thought to be in Virginia, but the census thru 1880 gives Temperance as born in Kentucky. The later children were half siblings of their mother Rebecca Enochs, 2nd wife of Richard Sharp. Perhaps this indicates that Nancy Rowe died in Kentucky?
