Arthur W. Dressler
A funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday, April 12, 2002, in St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Portland for Arthur W. Dressler, who died April 9 at age 78.
Mr. Dressler was born March 11, 1924, in Portland. He graduated from Benson Polytechnic High School in 1942. During World War II, he served in the Army Air Forces. He was a laborer and later a supervisor for the Portland Water Bureau for 35 years. In 1948, he married Betty Fagerberg.
Survivors include his wife; sons, Dan and Brian; daughters, Chris Dressler-Smith and Beth Morlan; brother, Frank; and six grandchildren. His daughter Shannon Dressler-Selby died in November 2001.
