Gerald J. "Jerry" Mann, of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Sunday, April 7, 2024, at the age of 90. Beloved husband of the late Louise M. Mann; cherished son of the late Cecil and Vera Mann; devoted father of Shari (Bob) Fortner, Teri (Larry) St. Clair, Matthew (Lisa) Mann, and Marianne (Kevan) Prather; loving grandfather of Leslie Lockett, Michelle Fortner, Angela (Matt) Winkelmann, Dustin Mann, Casey (Nick) Monzyk, Anna Prather, and Maria Prather; treasured great grandfather of Jack and Emilia Winkelmann; dear brother of Stan (Dolores) Mann, Beverly (Harley) McDonald, and the late Bob (Cindy still surviving) Mann; lifelong friend, Vic Caradonna; beloved uncle, cousin, coach, and friend to many. Jerry was also preceded in death by his mother and father in-law, Matteo, and Maria Genovese, and his siblings in-law, four sisters, Concetta (Harry) Nolte, Baby Domenica Genovese, Mamie (Red) Joyce, and Lena (Al) Dwyer, and six brothers Angelo (Julie) Genovese, George (Stella) Genovese, Peter (Dean) Genovese, Frank (Shirley) Genovese, Andy (Norma) Genovese, and Mike (Geraldine) Genovese.
Jerry was married to Louise, the love of his life, for over 67 years. He was a retired Post Dispatch mailer and proud union member. He was a member of the St. Louis Amateur Baseball Hall of Fame and the Union Printers International Baseball Hall of Fame. His proudest accomplishment was the loving family he created with Louise and the countless friends he made through the years. Jerry was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
