Charles "Britt" Alexander Ratledge III
On August 21, 2021, Charles "Britt" Alexander Ratledge III left this life for the heavenly one promised him.
Britt was born in Knoxville, TN, on November 15, 1964, and grew up in Maryville, Tennessee. A graduate of William Blount High School and East Tennessee University. Shortly thereafter, he began his career with Chick-fil-A, formed many lifetime friends thru that connection in those 31 years.
On January 5, 1991, Britt married Stephanie Szatkowski. They had 16 years of marriage and were blessed with three children before Stephanie left his life due to the effects of cancer.
Britt is survived by his children Morgan Rae Ratledge, Jacob Bassler Ratledge, MacKenzie Elaine Ratledge, his mother Helen Louise Ratledge; his sister Sherry Ratledge Zimmerman, his brother John Brian Ratledge and other family members.
A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, September 5, 2021, 3pm at Journey Christian Church, 1965 S. Orange Blossom Trail, Florida 32703.
He had a heart for Jesus and people and was deeply involved in community efforts. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to Blount County FOP #9 Sports Programs, 940 E. Lamar Alexander Parkway, Maryville, TN 37804
