MRS. BUCKLAND DEATH VICTIM

 

Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Jane Buckland, 50, of Calloway Heights, will be conducted at the residence today at 2 p.m. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park.

 

Mrs. Buckland died in a local hospital Sunday at 7:40 o'clock. She was admitted in the hospital last Wednesday suffering from asthma and complications.

 

Born January 12, 1894, the daughter of John Peterson and Della Mae Simms Peterson, of Beechwood, she was a member of the Baptist church, and had resided here for about 35 years.

 

She is survived by her husband, Joseph Marion Buckland; two daughters, Miss Mildred Buckland of Baltimore, Maryland; and Mrs. Ernest Lilly, of Mabscott; two sons, Private William M. Buckland, stationed at Camp Mackall, North Carolina; and Basil Buckland, at home; two sisters, Mrs. C. B. Miller of Appalachia, Virginia; and Mrs. A. Hanshaw, of Coal Grove, Ohio; two brothers, Harry Peterson, of Lundale; and Jack Peterson, of Mallroy, and six grandchildren.
