MARIE A NEUMEYER: 72; of West Third St died Tuesday evening[9-17] in Elyria Memorial Hosp after a short illness. She was born in Grafton & had lived in ValleyCity, Litchfield & Elyria. She was a lifelong member of the Emmanuel United Church of Christ of Valley City, a member of the Ladies Auxiliary to VFW Post 5563 of Valley City, the Litchfield Order of Eastern Star Chapter 420 & the Elyria American Legion Auxiliary.
Mrs Neumeyer's husband-Frank died in 1953 & a son-Clyde died in 1952. Survivors are a dau: Ruth (sp-Emil) Muntz-ValleyCity; a son: Law-rence-Elyria; 10 grandchildren; 3 sisters, Mrs Helen Canfield-Medina, MrsViola Klinect-Elyria, & MrsLouise Knopf-ColumbiaStation & a bro: Arthur Law-Litchfield.
Friends will be received in the Bauer Funeral Home-ValleyCity; Litchfield Chapter OES will have a service in the funeral home tomorrow night. Services will be Saturday afternoon [9-21] in the Emmanuel United Church of Christ-Valley City. The RevDonald Schumaker will officiate. Burial will be in RestAcres Cem.
