Artist. Абра́м Ефи́мович Архи́пов, Born in the Russian village of Yegorovo, He was an artist in a Russian art movement referred to as "Wanderes", as well as the Union of Russian Artists. He was a disciple of Vasily Perov, Vasily Polenov and Vladimir Makovsky, with his oeuvre most influenced by Makovsky. In 1883, Archipov went to study at the Imperial Academy of Arts at Saint Petersburg, where he stayed a couple of years,, before returning to complete his studies in Moscow. He died September 25, 1930 in Moscow.
