Wayne had a large family whom he dearly loved. He was also the a loving foster parent to many.
During his years as caretaker of this cemetery, the grounds never looked better. He spent so much time cleaning it, and he also found and remounted some long buried and forgotten headstones. He found the location of many unmarked graves and made simple crosses with the names of those buried in them. Unfortunately, most of those crosses have since been taken down or stolen.
