Mary "Aline" Benest, 100, of Severy, passed away Tuesday, March 11, 2008 at her home. She was born on March 6, 1908, in Elk County, the daughter of Marion and Margaret(Wilson) Speer. She is survived by one son, Gary Benest of Severy; one daughter, Kathy Robert of Emporia; seven grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. Graveside services were held Saturday, Marh 15, at South Lawn Cemetery in Severy with Pastor Dave Warren of the Severy Nazarene Church and Marty Taliaferro of Severy, officiating. Koup Family Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
