Pattie Jean Nielsen, 66, passed away on July 11, 2023 in Barrington, Illinois. Pattie was born on August 04, 1956 in Laurium, Michigan to parents Albert and Shirley Baillargeon. She married the love of her life, James Nielsen in Lakemoor, Illinois on December 9, 1989.
Pattie had a heart of gold and not a selfish bone in her body. She was the perfect wife, involved mother, loving grandmother and sister. She was everybody's "Auntie Pattie". She would help anyone anytime and pulled no punches. She was called home way too soon.
Pattie is survived by her husband: James Nielsen; her children: Kathryn (Terry) Caple of Virginia, Rebecca (Keith) Lakvold of Wisconsin, and Arthur Nielsen of Illinois; her grandchildren: Khalil Caple, Jake Houston, Dylan Lakvold, and Alayna Lakvold; her siblings: Lorri (late John) Downey and Alan Baillargeon; her mother-in-law: Phyllis Kirby; and many nieces and nephews.
Pattie was preceded in death by her parents: Albert and Shirley Baillargeon; and her brothers: Michael and Larry Baillargeon.
A Memorial Visitation will be held on Monday, July 17 at Colonial Funeral Home, 591 Ridgeview Drive McHenry, IL 60050, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A Prayer Service will start at 7:30 pm in the Funeral Home Chapel.
