Marcella was a Twin. She was the daughter of Levi M. Klopfenstein and Rachel Stuckey Klopfenstein. She relocated to Chicago, Illinois about 1935 where she and her twin sister, Rosella, worked in hospitals at that place as registered nurses. Marcella was the head nurse at Howe Military School at Howe, Indiana when she met and married widower Burrett Beebe Bouton, superintendent of Howe Military School, on 28 August 1943 at Howe. His first wife, with whom he had three sons, died in 1940. They made their home at Howe. Marcella and Burrett were the parents of one child, Michael Wickam Bouton. Marcella died at Parkview Hospital, Fort Wayne on 29 Oct 2002. Her sister Rosella died 12 Oct 2002 17 days apart.
