Musician. Former guitarist of Morbid Angel, Paths of Possession and Mosaic Covenant. Richard was born in Springfield, Massachusetts. He lived most of his life in Tampa, Florida. He attended Hillsborough Community College and received an Associates Degree. Later he attended the University of South Florida. Richard was a talented musician and songwriter. He was the lead guitarist for the band, Morbid Angel, for many years. In recent years he worked for Wright's Gourmet Cafe. Richard was a generous, easy going, and loving man. He will be greatly missed. He is survived by his father Richard P. Brunelle, step-mother Jan Brunelle, mother Beverly Heneveld, step-father Craig M. Heneveld, brothers; John Brunelle and spouse Megan, Craig C. Heneveld, Neal Heneveld, Scott Heneveld and spouse Kirstie and sister Lee Paz and spouse Christopher. Funeral services will be private. Those wishing to make donations in Richard's name can send them to a catholic charity or an animal rescue organization. In the care of Blount & Curry Funeral Home at Garden of Memories.
