Florence L. Borland , 69, Meadowview Apartments, Central Square, a native of Theresa, died Wednesday at her home after a brief illness.
The funeral will be private. Burial will be in Union Settlement Cemetery, West Monroe.
There will be no calling hours. Arrangements are with Watson Funeral Home, Central Square.
Surviving are three sons, Arnold, Central Square, Lyle, West Monroe, and Dean Jr., Mexico; a daughter, Gail Heath, Cleveland; 19 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren, and a sister, Shirley McLoda, Berlin Heights, Ohio.
A son, Dennis, died in Vietnam. A daughter, Kay Porter, also died before her.
Born April 28, 1926, in Theresa, a daughter of Roy and Theresa Snyder Davis, she married Dean J. Borland on Sept. 15, 1942, in Theresa with the Rev. Carl M. Worden officiating.
Mr. Borland died March 14, 1987.
Mrs. Borland lived in West Monroe for 40 years and moved to Central Square about two years ago.
