Goldsboro, May24. Funeral services for Oliver H. Allen, 44, former assistant attorney general for North Carolina, who died Thursday night in the
Goldsboro Hospital, will be conducted at 11 o'clock Saturday morning from the home in Goldsboro by the Rev. Leon Russell, pastor of St. Paul Methodist Church. Interment will be in Willow Dale Cemetery.
Mr. Allen died after an illness of several months. He was the son of the late W. R. Allen and Mrs. Mattie Moore Allen of Goldsboro. He was a graduate of the University of North Carolina and received his degree in law there in 1927.
Surviving are one brother, W. R. Allen of Goldsboro; and two sisters, Mary Moore Allen of Goldsboro and Mrs. John Duncan of Raleigh.
