CUYAHOGA FALLS — Raymond R. Brooks, 49, an assemblyman at Vaughn Machine Co., died today at St. Thomas Hospital, Akron, after a 12-day illness. He lived at 3926 Huff dr.
Born in Toronto, O., he lived in the area 28 years. He was associated with Vaughn 23 years and served in the armed forces during World War II.
He leaves his wife, Bertha; daughter, Mary Lou of Phoenix, Ariz.; parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. B. Brooks of Akron; brother, William of Barberton, and sisters, Mrs. Virginia Lindsey of Akron, Mrs. Betty Hitch of Glendale, Cal.
The Rev. Charles A. Albright will officiate at services at 3 p.m. Saturday at the Billow Falls Funeral Home, where friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.
