James Gordon "Jimmy" Alexander was the son of Martha Lynn Langford and John Nelson Alexander, Sr.
Jimmy was a 1955 graduate of Gallatin High School. He attended Martin Methodist College in Pulaski, Tennessee in 1955 where he met the love of his life, Betty Anne Stuart.
Jimmy was a life-long farmer. He loved fixing up tractors and engines, being outdoors, hunting, and having fun adventures in Alaska and Canada where he me many life-long friends whom he loved dearly.
Jimmy married Betty Anne on June 4, 1956 in Giles County, Tennessee. To this union three daughters were born, Mary Lynn, Anne, and Susanna. His unofficial adopted son J. J. Mireles. Three grandchildren Alex, Katie, and Bailey.
