Mrs. Mahala Stevens Morgan, widow of John Morgan, of Westbrookville, died at 3:30 o'clock Monday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. William Belcher in Graham. She was 83 years of age.

Deceased was the daughter of James Stevens and Betsy Devoe Stevens and was born at Greenwood Lake. She was united in marriage with John Morgan 65 years ago. The death of Mr. Morgan occurred in 1900. The greater part of Mrs. Morgan's life was spent at Westbrookville. She was a member of the Westbrookville M. E. Church.

The surviving relatives are four daughters, Mrs. William [Georganna] Belcher, of Graham; Mrs. Roy Zock, of Graham; Mrs. Bert Bensinger, of Westbrookville, and Mrs. Bert Youmans, of Port Jervis; three sons, John Morgan, of Newburgh; William Morgan, of Franklin, N. J., and Alonzo Morgan, of Bloomingburg, several grandchildren, and one great-grandchild; two brothers, Isaac and Daniel Stevens, of Southfields.
