Elizabeth Diane Cornforth passed peacefully into the arms of her Lord and Jesus Christ, Monday November 3, 2003. Elizabeth was born November 25, 1986 in Edmond, OK. Elizabeth was a Junior at Deer Creek High School and attended Francis Tuttle Vo-Tech, studying cosmetology. Elizabeth had been a cheerleader and was very active in the Waterloo Church of the Nazarene. Elizabeth was a special gift from God; she was a vibrant, energetic, and fun loving teenager. Elizabeth brought joy to everyone she came in contact with; her smile was one thing that will not be forgotten, for she had a smile and a hug for everyone. Her perky personality was one of her most endearing assets and her love for the young children and babies was always felt by each child, for she made each of them feel special. Elizabeth is survived by her parents David and Wauneeta Cornforth and sister, Katy Cornforth, a senior at Deer Creek High School. Elizabeth is also survived by three uncles, Ben Kates and his wife Peggy of Cashion, Ed Kates of Kansas City, KS, Terry Cornforth and his wife Cathy of Guthrie, one aunt Joyce Woolever and husband Tom of Edmond, six cousins Chris Kates of Edmond, Tim Kates of Kansas City, KS, Kevin Kates of Edmond, Rebecca Kates of Cashion, Mike Woolever and his wife Tracy of Edmond, Jennifer Suffridge and her husband Riley of Houston, TX and her true love Kasey Crowder of Oklahoma City. Elizabeth is also survived by a host of extended family and friends. Her maternal grandparents. Nora Lee Woodward and Benjamin E. Kates Sr. and her paternal grandparents Orval and Cora Cornforth preceded Elizabeth in death. Service will be held November 6, 2003 at the Life Covenant Church at 2:00 p.m. located at 4500 E. 2nd St, Edmond, OK, with interment to follow at Waterloo Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations made be made to the Waterloo Church of The Nazarene, 407 West Waterloo Rd. 73034. 341-2751 (John 3:16) Formal Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 5, 2003.
