George C. Campbell
George C. Campbell, 76, Edinburgh, died Saturday at St. John's Hospital in Anderson.
Born Aug. 5, 1921, in Jackson Township, he was the son of Clarence O. and Edith L. (Poe) Campbell.
Mr. Campbell worked as a mail carrier for the U.S. Postal Service.
He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and was a member of the American Legion Post No. 70 of Shelbyville.
He was also a member of the Blue River Baptist Church.
Survivors include two aunts, Eva Phares, Shelbyville, and Alberta Traver, Lake Luzerne, N.Y.
Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Robert Campbell officiating. Burial will be in Miller Cemetery, Shelby County. Military rites will be conducted by local veterans organizations.
