MRS. WM. U. BOOTON
PASSED AWAY TUESDAY
FUNERALFRIDAY
Funeral services will be conducted by Rev. J. E. Feller at the Methodist church Friday morning at 10:30 a.m. for Mrs. Wm. Booton, who passed away at her home near Orleans early Tuesday morning March 5. She had been in failing health for a number of years,. Following the services the remains will be interred in the family plot in Graceland Park Cemetery in Sioux City.

Iowa Mae Booton , daughter of J. P. and Catherine Zeller, was born April 1, 1873, in Johnson County, Iowa. She was married July 26, 1891 to Wm. U. Booton in Audubon County, Iowa. They reared two sons, L. H. of Portland, Ore., and Howard H. of Minneapolis, Minn.

The early part of their married life was spent in Audubon and Carroll county, Iowa, and for many years they lived in Sioux City. The past 12 years were spent in Spirit Lake.
Hers was the rare privilege of having celebrated her golden wedding anniversary in this city, and to have enjoyed the fond and loving friendships of many citizens found in this community.

The past five years were marred by three strokes, the last of which proved fatal. However hard those years may have been, they were brightened by the faithful and loving visits of those many true friends. Mrs. Booton was a member of the Methodist church and for years was active in her church affairs and the work of the Eastern Star, an organization of which she was a member. She had indeed lived a wonderful and full life.

Mrs. Booton is survived by her husband, two sons, and three grandchildren, Phyllis, Joan and Loy M. Booton.
