Wife: Jennifer R. Wharry, married on Feb. 24, 2001.

He was a graduate of the Lawrence County Career and Technical Center. As a result of a car accident in 2005, Steven had become a quadriplegic and was forced to retire from the former New Honda City in New Castle, where he was a car sales representative. He also worked in the same capacity at Shenango Honda in Hermitage.
