James Taylor Alguire, 73, a former resident of Ogdensburg, died at his home in State Heuvelton, Tuesday evening at 8pm following an illness of one year. Mr. Alguire was born in Louisville, NY Feb 12, 1869, the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Alguire and spent his early life in Ogdensburg before moving to Heuvelton about six years ago. He was a laborer all his life and was well known in this village.

On Nov 27, 1906, Mr. Alguire married Miss Ida May Patchin, who survives with two daughters, Mrs. Roy Beaupre of Summerstown, Ont., and Mrs. William Booth, 201 Sterling St, Watertown and two sisters, Mrs. Nellie King Horne, Cornwall, Ont., and Mrs. Mina Crites, Aultsville, Ont.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 from the Preston Funeral Home, Heuvelton, with the Rev. Robert Belbin, pastor of the Methodist Church of which he was a member officiating. Bearers will be Thomas White, Harry Cross, Gerald White, Fred Morris, Alec Widrick and Douglas WHite.
