Marie Armstrong of Fort Worth died there Tuesday at the age of 73.
Mrs. Armstrong was born in Delight, Arkansas, August 12, 1910 and married Virgil Armstrong December 12, 1930 in Stephenville.
Formerly of Acton, Mrs. Armstrong was a member of the Springdale Baptist Church in Fort Worth where she had resided for the past 40 years.
Mrs. Armstrong is survived by her husband, Virgil Armstrong of Fort Worth; a son and daughter-in-law, Sam and Billie Armstrong also of Fort Worth; two grandchildren, David Wayne Armstrong of Waurika, Oklahoma and Robert Armstrong of Fort Worth; and a great-grandson, Robert Wayne Armstrong of Waurika, Oklahoma.
Services were held Thursday at 1 pm at Acton Baptist Church with interment at Acton Cemetery. The Rev. Larry Wilson officiated the services, assisted by Rev. Glenn Ward.
