William Whitfield Gillies was the husband of Coila Kenyon. He was the caretaker of Santa Cruz Memorial Park, when it was known as the I.O.O.F.Cemetery. He and his family lived in Santa Cruz for many years.

Gillies of Santa Cruz, Mrs. Gertrude Nutter of Capitola, Mrs. Anna Verdin of Santa Cruz, Donald Gillies of Los Gatos, Robert Gillies of Sanger; brother of Scot D. Oliver of Wichita, Kansas. Aged 85 years.
Services will be conducted at Wessendorf Chapel, Wenesday, January 27, 1960 at 2:00 pm. Rev. Pauline Q. Powell of Unity Temple, officiating.
Inurnment in I.O.O.F. Crematory. Friends are respectfully invited to attend.
