Nathan Eugene Sullivan, 20, of Raymore, Mo., was taken from all his loved ones and friends on May 24, 2008, by a bizarre lightning strike. Visitation 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, St. Paul's United Methodist Church, Raymore. Funeral service 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 28, St. Paul's United Methodist Church, Raymore. Burial Raymore Cemetery. He was born to Troy and Susan Sullivan on Feb. 21, 1988. He lived his entire life in Raymore. He graduated from Raymore- Peculiar High School in 2006 and was a member of St. Paul's. Nathan was following in his father's footsteps for a career choice. He was a budding dental technician for the last two years at Root Dental Laboratory with a promising career ahead of him. He was a loving, intelligent, caring person and always eager to please. He wasn't afraid to ask for or give advice. He was personable and humorous. Everyone that knew Nathan enjoyed his company. Nathan leaves behind his parents and his sister, Allison, of the home. He also leaves a great- grandfather, Ian Drake of Raytown; grandmothers, Carol Richard and Judy Keen of Raymore; his great uncle, Jim Keen of Belton, his great aunt, Georgia Prewitt from Kentucky, his uncle, Steve and aunt, Linda Allen of Peculiar, his aunt and uncle, Doug and Sara Medsker of Guilford, Mo., his aunt, Terri LaJoie of Raymore, aunt, Tammie Sykes of South Carolina and several cousins and second cousins. He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Jack and Kathleen Keen, great-grandmother, Gladys Drake, grandfather, Hal Allen and grandfather, David Richard. He also leaves behind numerous friends who love him. Donations may be made to the church. Heaven has just become a better place with his presence. Our hearts are torn.
