Verlie Ensminger died Wednesday, April 16, 1986 at W.S. Major Hospital. She was 87.
She was the daughter of Joseph and Viola (Hartzell) Swinford.
In November of 1920, she married Ira Ensminger, who preceded her in death on December 6, 1980.
She was a lifelong Shelby County resident, and member of the Mt. Gilead Baptist Church, the Guild, Senior Citizens and Shar-A-Like Club.
Mrs. Ensminger is survived by her daughter, Mavis Kuhn; 2 grandsons and 1 great-grandson; and sister, Faye Swinford.
