Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. at the Oakdale Baptist Church with the Rev. Paul McClusky and the Rev. Russell Lance officiating. Burial was in Bottoms Cemetery, Spry of Athens directing.
She is survived by three sons, Clarence, George, and Allen McDonald, all of Athens; three daughters, Mrs. Willie Mae Higginbotham, Ardmore, Tenn., Mrs. Edna Higginbotham, Athens, Mrs. Gladys Pullen, Muscle Shoals; 23 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren.
Mrs. McDonald was a native of Giles Co, TN, had resided in Limestone County 64 years. She was a member of Oakdale Baptist Church.
She was the wife of John Dudley McDonald.
