Clara Mae Perry, 100. Passed away on Monday, October 17, 2022, at the Courtyards Nursing Facility. She was born August 22, 1922, in the New Salem Community of Itawamba County, to Trannie and Frances Dodd Umfress. She attended the Family Worship Center in Mantachie. She loved going to church. She worked at Rex Brown's Factory in Fulton and Rosotos in Tupelo. She enjoyed being outside and working in her garden and with her flowers, and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, October 13, at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Fulton. Burial will be in the Keyes Cemetery.

Survivors include two sons, Leonard A. Perry and Kenneth E. Perry (Pamela), both of Fulton; four sisters, Nellie Umfress, Eloise Shell, Margaret Qullen, and Marie Umfress; Thirteen grandchildren; twenty- three great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Shalor Leonard Perry; one son, Ellis Ray "Tony" Franks; three daughters, Jessie Faye Franks, Linda Frances Duncan, and Lola White; two brothers, Howard Umfress and James Umfress; two sisters, Virginia Roland and Amarillus Umfress; and her parents.

Visitation will be Thursday from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home in Fulton.
