SCHAU RITES HELD
Funeral services were held Monday for Ernest William Schau, 70, who died suddenly Friday evening at his home in Lowell.
Mr. Schau was born Apr. 2, 1883 in Adams Twp. a son of the late Henry and Artensia Schau. On Nov. 11, 1905, he married Miss Carrie Schmidt who survives in addition to a daughter, Mrs. Donald Lowe of Lowell; six grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; also one brother, Wallace Schau of Sistersville; two sisters, Mrs. Albert Jahn and Mrs. Harry Salzman of Marietta. Two brothers and a sister preceded him in death, Walter and Charles Schau and Mrs. Nellie Wagner. Pallbearers were Elza Roff, Lawrence Ball, Truman Wilson, Harley Hughes, Glen Adams and Morris Oliver. Services were held from the Peoples Funeral Home in Lowell with burial in Greenlawn Cemetery.
