Rosary for Mrs. Catherine M. Cooney, 79 years old, widow of Thomas J. Cooney, who died 6 Oct 1950 in the Freeman hospital after an illness of one week. The body will be sent Sunday morning to Lexington, NE. Funeral services will be held Tuesday morning at Overton NE and the burial will be in the Catholic cemetery at Lexington. (St. Ann's)
A native of Ontario, Canada, Mrs. Cooney had been a resident of the District 15 years, moving here from Nebraska. She was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church at Webb City.
Surviving are three daughtersm Mrs H. B. Green and Miss Mabel Cooney of the home and Mrs Joseph Friedman of New York City. Three brothers, Patrick Priel and James Priel of Overton NE and William Priel of Lexington and two grandchildren
