Son of Joe & Alice Stephens
He attended Grady County Schools, was an electrician and a member of St. Clair P.B. Church.
Worked at a lumber mill in his early adult years. Incurred an accident there that caused him to cut off 4 fingers on one hand. He healed and kept full use of that hand -- an amazing site to see. Worked at W.B. Roddenbery, Co., Inc. as an electrician & repaired motors there until his retirement. His hand injury did not prevent him from using it to write, swing a hammer, or make full use of his electrical & mechanical tools.
