Funeral services for Thomas Jefferson Morley, 77, engineer at the Municipal water works for about 50 years, who died suddenly while at work Saturday afternoon as the result of a heart attack, will he held in the home at 513 College street, Tuesday at 2 p.m. in charge of Rev. R.K. Caulk, director of St. Stephen's Episcopal church. Burial will be in Riverview cemetery.

Mr. Morley went to work for the city when his brother, the late Phillip Morley, was water works superintendent and when the pump station was along the River Road. When Phillip left the city's service to engage in the contracting business, the deceased also resigned but returned to his old position a short time later. He recently declined an offer to become chief engineer at the filtration plant.

Mr. Morley was also a brother of the late Clint Morley, chief of the fire department for many years.

The deceased is survived by his widow, Mrs. Mary Foster Morley; two daughters, Mrs. Charles M. Anderson and Mrs. Willis Martin and one son. H.C. Morley, all of East Liverpool.

Friends are asked to call at the home tonight.
