Orville R. Albin, 70, of Rte 3, Decatur, died at 10:42 p.m. Monday in Decatur Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday in the Dawson & Wikoff Funeral Home, where friends may call after 5 p.m. Wednesday. Burial will be in Illini Cemetery, Warrensburg.
Mr. Albin was born in Macon County, a son of George Henry and Flora Belle Watkins Albin.
He had lived in Macon County all his life. He was a member of the Illini Congregational Church and a retired farmer.
He married Estella E. Holderness on October 21, 1924 in Warrensburg, IL. She preceded him in death.
Surviving are a son, Richard of Warrensburg; daughters, Mrs. George (Betty) Rippel, Bloomington; and Mrs. W. Donald (Harriet) Ray of Warrensburg; brother, Irvin of Decatur; sister Mrs. Marshall (Ruby) Morthland of Kenney and nine grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by one daughter Norma (Arnfelt).
