OBITUARY - FRESNO BEE - FRESNO, CALIFORNIA

John T. Arrowood

John T. Arrowood, 72, Modesto, Calif., who formerly lived in springfield, died at 8 a.m. Friday in a Veterans Admistration Hospital in Livermore, Calif., of cancer.

Mr. Arrowood attended Central Bible College and for many years was on the staff of the Central Assembly of God Church here. He moved to California 20 years ago where he was a member of the Full Gospel Assembly of God., serving on the church board in Modesto, and was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He was a veteran of World War I and was awarded the Purple Heart.

Surviving are his wife, Fern; two daughters, Mrs. Mary Krause, Oakhurst, California., and Mrs. Edith Henderson, gustine, Calif.; two brothers, Arthur and Herman, both of Des Moines; and five grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Modesto with burial also in Modesto.
