Funeral services for Leah Grace Armstrong were held Saturday,April 19,1979 at The United Church of Faulkton. Rev.Wayne McKirdy officiated.Burial was in the Cresbard Cemetery.
Mrs . Armstrong died April 16, 1979 at the Faulk County Memorial Hospital in Faulkton.
Leah Grace (Blodgett ) Armstrong was born August 16, 1900 at Cresbard to La Vant and Elise (Horning) Blodgett. She lived most of her life in the Onaka and Cresbard areas. She married Robert Armstrong March 27, 1922 at Cresbard.
Mrs . Armstrong was a member of the Rebekahs,Faulkton Autumn Leaves Senior Citizens and the United Church of Faulkton.
Survivors include her husband Robert; three sons, Gaylon of Ashton, Gerald of Lebanon, Missouri, Garlon of Hugo,Minnesota, two daughters Mrs.Pauline Wiedrick of Aberdeen, Mrs . Beverly Rathman of Tulsa, Okla. two brothers, Howard Blodgett of Salt Lake City,Utah and Wendell Blodgett of Seattle,Washington, three sisters Gladys Lewer of Aberdeen, Florence Olsen of Seattle,Washington and Evelyn Counley of Seattle, Washington, 24 grandchildren and 11 great -grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and three grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Marvin Armstrong, Alan Armstrong, Scott Armstrong, Eugene Armstrong, Patrick Armstrong, Mike Wiedrick and David Dahme.
