Brother of 11 siblings.

1. Elizabeth (Laughlin) Galbraith (1772-1810)

He and Elizabeth married March 2, 1797 and had 6 children:

Louisa* (Galbraith) [McCanse] Zinn, Arthur Sharp Galbraith, Alexander M. or W. Galbraith, John Montgomery Galbraith, Anna Maria Galbraith, and Elizabeth E. (Galbraith) Lee.

*Louisa may have been an adopted child.



2. Sarah (Anderson) Galbraith (1787-1849)

He and Sarah married December 3, 1811 and had 8 children:

Joseph M. "Joe" Galbraith, William Galbraith, Anderson Galbraith, Audley A. "Andy" Galbraith, Isaac White Galbraith, Andrew Galbraith, Jr., Amanda (Galbraith) McCarty, and Sarah Frances (Galbraith) [Elmore] Goforth.


Andrew Galbraith, Sr. was my 3rd great-granduncle through his marriage to Sarah (Anderson) Galbraith.
