Matilda L. Clark Seiler "Tillie", 84, of Bellevue Iowa and formrly of Maquoketa died Tuesday, December 11, 2007 at Mercy Medical Center in Dubuque, Iowa.
Private graveside services and burial were held at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Maquoketa, Iowa with Rev. Ruth Ann Scott, chaplain-celebrant of the funeral home, officiating.
Visitation was held from 4:30 to 7:00 p.m. Friday, December 14, 2007 at the funeral home.
Matilda L. Seiler was born April 6, 1923 in Bellevue, Iowa to Charles Seiler and Emma Reeg Seiler.
She married Dillon "Fat" Clark on January 25, 1957 in Dubuque. He preceded her in death on November 4, 1984.
Mrs. Clark had been a resident of Mill Valley Care Center in Bellevue since 2005. While at Mill Valley, she enjoyed being involved in activities such as bingo and arts and crafts.
Survivors include four sons, Arnold & DArla Mangler and Bob Mangler, both of Delmar, Iowa, Ervin Mangler Jr. of Maquoketa and Richard & Sherry Mangler of Dubuque, Iowa; three daughters, Arlene & Allan Jewell of Adrian, Illinois, Mary 7 David Wallace of Bellevue and Darlene & Lanny Lewis of Adrian, Michigan; 19 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, one sister, two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
