Max was the son of Charles Roy and Bertha Maud (Peffer) Wineberg. He married Mary Josephine Miller on June 14, 1936. They were the parents of Max Robert, Jr; Barbara and Alan Ray Wineberg.
Max retired from Aero Oil Co., New Oxford after 30 years of driving tractor trailer transport trucks.
He liked to tinker with tractors, hunt small game and deer, ice fishing and crabbing in the Chesapeake Bay. He especially enjoyed farming and tending a large garden and often gave much of the produce away. Max was a good and humourous man, liked by many, who was especially loving and patient with his grandchildren.
