Funeral services for Moses Bales, 80 years old, who died at the home of his son C.F. Bales, 125 Grand Avenue at 1:35pm Monday, will be held Wednesday afternoon at 3 o'clock at the Johnson funeral chapel conducted by the Rev. John Hastie. Burial will be made in the Ottumwa cemetery. Mr. Bales is survived by two sons; Chauncey F Bales and Bruce Bales, both of Ottumwa; two daughters, Mrs Electra May St.Germain of Hartford, Conn. and Mrs. Cleora Frances Paolillo of Brooklyn, N.Y.; and brother, Jacob Bales of near Floris, Iowa.
