Note: Charley was actually born in Sikeston, Missouri and was the son of Fred and Estella (Davis) Bone. I have been unable to find his wife Darlene’s gravesite yet, but she died on 14 Feb 2016 in Chicago, Illinois.

"Charley J. Bone, 58, formerly of East Prairie, died at 3:15 p.m. May 18, 2004, at his home in Sikeston, MO.
Born July 22, 1945, in Sacramento, CA, son of the late A.L. and Estella Gertrude Davis Johnson, he was a member of the Mercy Seat Baptist Church in Charleston.
On Sept. 5, 1998, he married Darlene Preyar who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: one stepson, Eric Steven Williams; one stepdaughter, Felisha Deneen Beauchamp; and three stepgrandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Earl Miller [**actually Earl Bone]; and one sister, Ida A. Hall.
Graveside services were conducted at 2 p.m. today at the Armer Cemetery near Bertrand with Dr. Rick Ramsey officiating.
Pallbearers were: Jason Thomas, Brian Ditto, Billy Joe Thomas, Junior Oliver and Charles Overton.
Shelby Funeral Home of East Prairie was in charge of arrangements. "
