Danny Earl Breeze, dedicated husband, father and friend, returned to his Father in Heaven on May 28, 2008, residing in West Jordan, Utah, at the age of 64.

Danny was born in Murray, Utah on May 2, 1944 to Earl C Breeze and Illean Naylor Breeze Stewart. Earl went into the service soon after he was born, and returned when Danny was around two and a half years old. While he was gone, Danny lived with his mother and grandparents, William and Ethel Breeze. His grandparents were a big part of his life and he had fond memories of them. It was in their home he first learned about gardening, working, and the weekly winding of his grandparents favorite clock, which in turn became common practice throughout his life. He grew up the eldest of five boys. He attended schools in Granger, Utah, and graduated from Granger High School in 1962. On November 30, 1962 he married his dearest sweetheart, Linda Jean McDonald, in Granger, Utah. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Los Angeles Temple June 13, 1971. Together they are parents of six children. Jeffery Shane, the first, who died shortly after his birth, Debra Kay, Christie Lynn, David Keith, Cynthia Ann, and Amanda Jean. They have been married for 46 years and have been an incredible example of love, commitment and strength of marriage and family. Dan worked as an employee of Otis Elevator Company for 45 years, spending a majority of those years working out of the San Diego, California office. He held many positions which included Elevator Mechanic, Field Education Instructor, Lead Troubleshooter and he finished his career in the Engineering Department. He had incredible respect for the men he worked with. He wholeheartedly loved his work and enjoyed every moment he could get learning, teaching or fixing elevators. Dan was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He held numerous callings within the Church, most recently as a family history consultant, for which he had a true passion. But most of all, he had a strong testimony and a real love for his Savior.

Dan is survived by his sweetheart, Jean; his five children, Debbie, Christie (Rich), David (Stacey), Cindy and Button (Brad); 12 grandchildren; mother, Illean (Marvin); and four brothers, Jim (Vera), Ken (Melinda), Larrry (Patty) and Rick (Paula). He is preceded in death by his father, Earl and grandchildren, Damen and Deven.
