TOWER CITY - Joyce A. Barnhardt, 79, of 151 W. Grand Avenue, Tower City, passed away Friday morning at the Tremont Health and Rehab.
Born in Sheridan, June 14, 1928, she was a daughter of the late William and Gertrude Kopp Barnhardt.
Joyce retired from the former Bobbi Rogers Factory, Tower City; was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church, Muir; and the I.L.G.W.U.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by 2 brothers, John and Mark Barnhardt and a sister, Betty Kessler.
Surviving are her daughter, Linda J. Jobe and her husband, Tom of Tower City; and a sister, Doris Heberling of Tower City.
Memorial services will be held Monday, June 2nd, at 11 a.m., from the Chapel of the Dimon Funeral Homes, Inc., with Pastor Linda Danis. Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:30-11 a.m., at the chapel.
Memorial donations in her memory should be made to Grace United Methodist Church, Wiconisco Street, Muir, PA 17957.
