Jimmy L. Yount
Jimmy Lewis Yount, 69, a former Liberal resident, died Monday, February 1, 1988, at his home in Port Salerno, Florida, following an illness of several months.
He was born April 14, 1918, in Liberal. He was the son of Jaxie M. and Lennie Lively Yount. He served in the Army during World War II.
Survivors include on son, Larry Yount, of Scottsdale, Arizona; one daughter, Debra Liege, of Louisville, Kentucky; one brother, T.D. Yount, of Liberal; and two grandchildren.
Graveside services were held Monday, February 8th, at the Barton City Cemetery, Liberal, with Marvin Long officiating. Ferry Funeral Home of Nevada was in charge of local arrangements.
