BETH ADAMS, 63, of Erie, IL, died Wednesday, May 28, 2008 at Genesis Medical Center Illini Campus in Silvis, IL.
Beth was born June 29, 1944, in Moline, IL, to Warren E. Sr. and Catherine E. (Buckman) Bealer. She was educated in the Whiteside County schools. She married Douglas W. Adams on August 21, 1960 in Clinton, IA. He died on March 14, 1996. Beth was a homemaker. She was an avid bowler and loved to crochet and do various crafts. She was active in Girl Scouts of America for more than 25 years.
Survivors include three daughters, Julie (Mrs. Russell) Dykstra of Fulton, IL, Christine (Mrs. Dan) Hager of Albany, IL, and Evelyn Bartee of Dows, IA; one son, Steven (Erin) Adams of Fulton, IL; eleven grandchildren, Jeffery (Katie) Dykstra, Mrs. Deanna Lankford, Kendall (Emily) Dykstra, Andrea Covell, Christopher Bartee, Erin Bartee, William Bartee, Anthony Hager, Tiffany Hager, Madeline Adams, and Isabella Adams; six great grandchildren; her step mother, Mrs. Harriett Bealer of Rock Island, IL; one sister, Mrs. Shirley Verkruysee of Erie, IL; a special friend, Howard Letcher of Erie, IL.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Douglas; one sister, Charlotte Lovejoy; two brothers, Gene and Rollin Bealer.
