James K. Webb, 45, formerly from the Eva, Oklahoma community passed away unexpectedly Saturday, May 31st, 2008 in San Antonio Texas, where he had resided for many years.
Jim was born March 1st, 1963 in Guymon, Oklahoma, to William Leon and Susan Wood Webb. Jim graduated from Yarbrough High School in 1981 and was a 1985 graduate of Oklahoma Panhandle State University. He was an active 4-H member and a member of the PSU Livestock Judging Team. At the time of his death, Jim was a staff computer consultant for Red Hat, Incorporated. In 2003, Jim met and married the love of his life, Heidi Land Webb. This union combined two families of children. Brett Eaton and Jarrod Webb of Montgomery, Texas and Ronald, Travis, Patrick Land, and Justin Webb of the home.
Jim is preceded in death by his father Leon Webb in 1991
Jim is survived by his loving wife Heidi of their home, his children, Brett 23, Jarrod 16, Ronald 15, Travis 12, Patrick 10, and Justin 2; his mother Susan Kile and stepfather Terry Kile of Beaver, Oklahoma; brother John Webb and wife Lynn and three sons of Overland Park, Kansas; his grandmother, Earnestine "Ernie" Wood of Guymon, Oklahoma; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins of the Wood and Webb families as well as many friends.
Funeral services for Jim will be held Saturday, June 7th, 2008 at 2:00 PM at the Henson-Novak Funeral Chapel, 5th & James, Guymon. Internment will follow at Elmhurst Cemetery in Guymon.
Memorials may be designated to the Webb Family College Fund, c/o Henson-Novak Funeral Directors, P.O. Box 1306, Guymon, Oklahoma 73942.
