Funeral services for Alvin A. Bremer, 34, who was struck by lightning at the farm home of his parents North of Frederika and instantly killed, will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at St. Peter's Church in Tripoli, with burial in the church cemetery.
He was born at Sumner, August 16, 1909, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Bremer, and received his education in rural and Sumner schools. He had been farming with his father the last 18 to 20 years.
Surviving besides his parents are two sisters, Mrs. Elmer Joens, Waverly; Lucille at home; three brothers, Elmer and Everett, Waterloo, and Staff Sgt. Herbert Bremer, overseas.
